We need a little Christmas...

OK, so I know that I am not the only one....but I am using this blog as a way to find out since many of you who read are a part of the Haynes family! What are we going to do for the Haynes side for Christmas? We have missed one too many Christmas parties. I know I really miss seeing everyone and getting together to celebrate. If I was able, I would host it, but that would be a little tricky given the space at our house, but I am willing to help out! I hope I'm not being overly obnoxious about this, but wouldn't it be nice to catch up with everyone? :) Hopefully this at least gets a conversation going... :)

That's such a great idea... Believe me, if we could, we'd hop on the fastest flight up there to enjoy a Haynes family holiday. The last one I can honestly remember is when Grandma and Grandpa had the party in their club house (the one with a pool, a bunch of rooms and a game room downstairs). That must have been like 18 years ago- give or take?!?! With some of us 1st cousins having married and/or having kids, it sure would be a nice get-together with lots of people=) Good idea! Either way, know my family sends their love to you=)

I totally agree. It seems like ever since Grandma and Grandpa passed no one wants to bother. I know people are really busy now a days, but I'm sure we could arrange something that most people will be able to attend. It would be really nice to be able to see everyone. I'm also with you on the space issue at my house, but I would also be willing to chip in and help put something together.
You talk to your dad and I'll talk to my mom, that should get us somewhere at least! :-)
